I attended the Allentown Spiritual Expo on Sunday and it was really a wonderful experience.

The Expo is held  at the Allentown Fair Grounds for two weekends in the Fall and Spring. entirely fills one large building.  Admission is $7 which includes a full day of speakers, the opportunity to network, get info on various spiritual modalities, see some beautiful items and artwork and speak to a wide range of vendors and readers.

The Expo is sponsored by Metaphysical Universal Ministries.  I caught up with organizer Rev. Isabelle Moll and she graciously gave me a moment out of her hectic day to tell me a bit about the Spiritual Expo.  The Fall show has been held for 19 continuous years.  A second yearly Spring show was added several years ago.  Vendor prices are reasonable at (I believe Isabelle said) $260 for a large two day spot (inquire via MUM for specifics).  Isabelle was also kind enough to pose for the lovely picture below!

The venue was worth the $7 one day entry fee for the all day line up of speakers alone.  I was only able to catch one lecture but I really enjoyed it.  The topic was Hawaiian spiritual practice (something I know very little about so I was thrilled to get an introduction).  The speaker was Hawaiian born healer, teacher and author Harry Unhane Jim .  I am now inspired me to learn more on this fascinating subject!

I also had the opportunity to visit with some very interesting readers, sample some great natural teas, learn about a couple of very unique spiritual modalities, drool over some gorgeous (and very reasonably priced crystals), get some good leads on interesting upcoming workshops in and around Eastern PA.  Not to mention: tons of pictures!

I will be posting the pics over the course of the week along with snippets of info on some of the readers, artists and vendors I met with.

Mark your calendar for the next expo May 19th & 20th, 2012 at the Allentown Fairgrounds!
