Last month I attended a wonderful seminar on the Edgar Cayce material.  One of the things I found especially exciting?  No traveling required!

I had only recently learned that Inner Peace Health, Healing and Wellness Center, a holistic health center in nearby Wilkes-Barre PA, featured the Cayce remedies and hosted lectures on a range of Cayce topics. And I was thrilled to have made this discovery.

Inner Peace is owned and operated by Donna Will, a lifetime student of the Cayce readings and mother of five who experienced the healing power of the Cayce remedies first hand.  Afflicted with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy or RSD - a nerve disorder characterized by chronic severe burning pain, pathological changes in bone and skin and extreme sensitivity to touch, Will found that modern medicine had little to offer her.  Wheelchair bound but determined to heal, she turned to the Cayce material for help.

Since the diagnosis of RSD was unknown in Cayce's time, Will searched the Association for Research and Enlightenment's Cayce database for her symptoms.  Following her own intervention and treatment at the A.R.E. Center in Virginia Beach, Will experienced profound and significant healing.  Her desire to give back to others led to a new career in energy medicine, including specialization in the Cayce remedies, and became the impetus behind the creation of Inner Peace.

Inner Peace Health, Healing and Wellness Center is an obvious creation of love.  Each room is beautifully decorated in one of the jewel like colors of the seven chakras and graced with softly glowing rock salt and selenite lamps.  Not only is the energy and ambiance outstanding however - Inner Peace is a working healing center with a surprising array of therapies available.

Modalities available at Inner Peace include Massage from Cayce/Reilly certified therapist, Susan Arthur, Cayce Remedies such as the Violet Ray, Castor Oil and Glyco Packs, Reiki, Shiatsu, Yoga, Colon Hydrotherapy, Qigong, Lymph Drainage Massage, Ayurvedic Oil Treatment, Iridology, Foot Detox and Reflexology, Nutritional Counseling, Infrared Sauna, Hyperbaric Chamber, Blood Studies and Life Coaching.

Also offered: seminars like the one I attended - given by Henry Bieryla, a businessman, Penn State grad and regional authority on the Edgar Cayce readings.   Bieryla's July presentation was the third in a three part series on "The Wisdom of Edgar Cayce" delivered to a capacity crowd of 60+ people.  I wish I had known about lectures one and two as I certainly would have attended.

Throughout the presentation Bieryla provided an engaging and comprehensive look at the Cayce material as well as a heartfelt discussion of spiritual topics.  I loved the energy in the room, particularly at the close of the lecture when Bieryla shared some of his own ideas about the new energies in and around 2012.  It was truly wonderful evening!

And if you missed the series, take heart. Mr. Bieryla is offering continuing Cayce related classes including a three part series entitled "Paradigm Shift" beginning at Inner Peace on September 12th, 2012. Other upcoming events at the center include a free movie night and ongoing women's group.  Additionally, a labyrinth styled after the labyrinth laid out at the A.R.E. in Virgina Beach is available to walk free of cost (by prior arrangement).

Inner Peace Health and Wellness Center promises to be a wonderful place to heal and to learn.  I'm excited to have it as my neighbor here in Northeast PA.  I only wish I had heard of it sooner!
