This weekend I attended a workshop.  It was called "Foundations of Mediumship" and given by Rev. Janet Nohavac, minister of The Journey Within Spiritualist Church in Pompton Lakes, NJ.  Janet is an incredibly evidential medium and a wonderful teacher.  The workshop was a perfect combination of lecture and exercises.

This is not my first workshop at The Journey Within.  Every one I have taken there has been true spiritual growth experience and I would recommend the courses given there to anyone considering learning more about mediumship.  A good place to start is Beginners Mediumship with medium Joe Shiel which is given in March.

I read for several different people.  I read psychically and mediumistically.  I read blindfolded.  I read with my eyes open and closed.   I even read in front of a small group.  I am still unsure and when I get my eight bits of info (give or take) I stop before I can "make a mistake."  I do not give oodles of information but I am consistent and reasonably accurate.  This is a skill I can develop and I'm finally beginning to believe that this is true.

I will be taking the other two workshops in Janet's series over  the course of 2014, as well as attending medium Gloria Weichand's weekly Spirit Circle at the Spirit Education Center and Sanctuary in Effort PA.  And I hope that everyone reading this article will take the time to meet Gloria March 26th when I interview her live on "Spirit Talk!"
