Two Peonies by Loretta Fasan

As part of my clairvoyant and mediumship training I'm learning about symbols.  Knowing and understanding symbols is helpful in psychic work.  It can be used as a sort of code to communicate with spirit and receive psychic information.  This week's flower is the Peony!

About The Peony - With their lush, full, rounded bloom, peonies embody romance and prosperity and are regarded as an omen of good fortune.  The peony  is a traditional floral symbol of China and called the "flower of riches and honor." The western name for the peony is taken from the Greek physician Paeon, who received the flower on Mount Olympus from the mother of Apollo.  Legends go on to say the Paeon was saved from the fate of dying as other mortals by being turned into the flower we know today as the peony.
